Re: SKILL BASED MATCHMAKING PLEASE

When a game dies it doesnt die all at once it's gradual. People are holding out still in hopes that an update will correct things but people some are giving up on the game therefore "will" be the death is what I intended. The game is clearly not dead but without a true casual mode people are losing interest. I myself am losing interest. I post on these forums because I remember how much I enjoyed the game previously.

I think you guys are missing the point... 

I've played this game for 10 months now, and I'm tired of getting my face smashed in by guys with 5000 to 10000 kill in random.  I'm a father and I'm an adult who works and just want to get into a game with my quality of players.

And don't tell me ranked is for that because in ranked I get put with gold 4 through gold 1, but that doesn't mean that they're the same level of skill as me. A predator team could have started the season late and right now they're only in gold, and I'm sure you'll say well eventually they'll move up out of gold. But what about all the Platinum teams, the premades - they're always there.

See rank doesn't do what you guys think it does until you get into the diamond or platinum or predator category. 

But again, if all you pros or better than the average Joe guys who spend 30 hours a week playing this game, don't like sweating and actually trying in a pub game, get good. 

Because that's what we've been told for the last 10 months to a year. We've been dealing with those types of games non-stop whether it's ranked or pub. 

You guys are the 1% and you're complaining that you don't want to be in tough games every game you play. Welcome to our little bit of hell...

Edit: Oh man - don't make me laugh when you call yourself an AVG player in plat... that's straight ignorance right there. 

You just argued the fact that - "no one cares for a game too easy" and then contradicted yourself about wanting a 'fair game'. So you want to have an easy game - because you put 30 hours in a week and the avg joe - only can put in 5 hours a week. 

but see - you're ok with owning 'noobs'... we are the noobs. we aren't ok with it. and saying "gold rank" is enough time that you should have SOME skill. Who the hell are you to tell me what skill i should or shouldn't have? 

See this is the problem with you predators - you all think everyone should be at your level and if you aren't - your response. Get good. 

Enjoy the knew SBMM - we are finally now enjoying the game the way you used too - EXCEPT we aren't OWNING noobs... we are playing against guys our level - not 30 - 40 hour a week players.

GIt good or go play another game.  You honestly expect to be good at a player vs player game without investing a lot of time?!?

I highly recommend that you try out Destiny 2 or Borderlands 1,2, 3.  They are PVE (player vs environment).  You can stomp on stuff to your heart's desire!

Everything you have said in your posts is exactly how i see it as well. Higher level players want to noob stomp every now and then plain and simple. I know a lot of people say "play ranked if you want sbmm" but I do play ranked, I play ranked in a squad and pubs when i am solo. Who knows, maybe they are the ones who are not playing the game as intended haha.

Having said that, the sbmm is definitely not perfect and needs tweaking but its a step in the right direction in my opinion.

Level 500+ here and yesterday I tried to play and each time I q up I got into room with people no higher the entire time then level 14.  I'm currently looking for a new game to play as of today.

I am lvl 103 but I have just over 500 kills in my lifetime in this game seeing how I just started playing the last month or so. I was doing good until I got my 3k badge and now, I am getting paired with people that have 20K kills or more with one character. They were pushing the entire lobby like they knew they were the best in the lobby and didn't belong with a bunch of noobs. Extremely frustrating cause I was really enjoying the game until now. This has happened on almost every game now for the last few days since I got that badge.
