@AnjunakrokusThis is exactly why I am on the side of hate this season in my love/hate relationship with Apex.

Game after game after game of getting absolutely obliterated without feeling like you've got a shot. In prior seasons I'd get the 1 in 30 game that felt real but not this season. This week though has been especially horrible. I'm 70 games since my last win and my KDR has absolutely plummeted despite an epic number of immediate Quit to Lobby games because I get killed so fast I don't even know what happened.

Somehow the SBMM has no idea that I don't belong in the lobbies I keep getting put into. I see higher level dive trails and smurfs every single match. I also haven't had a hard carry yet this season so the SBMM isn't matching me up with better players, just feeding me to them as cannon fodder. It is absolute garbage.

I think the best think everyone can do in the current situation is to lower their own expectations and re-define their own goals what an "OK" game is. For me, an "OK" game is when I get 3+ or more kills and 900+ damage. Why? Because thats is better than my current KD and avr dmg dealt (2.6 and 890 something). I dont jump around in joy when this happens ofc but at least its an acceptable outcome than it doesnt make my mood worse. So even if I dont win every game or get those super fun 15+ kills, 4k dmg games that often, then at least I can hava a decent time grinding pubs without getting tilted.
Because this IS a battle royal of 60 players and not a 1v1 or 5v5 etc. So its just not fair to have the expectations to have high dmg games or even a decent chance of winning every game. Like I said before; even against exactly equally skilled opponents, you would only win 5% of your matches, statistically.
