No magazine size is fine. It promotes weapon swapping and actually taking cover during fights.

Find the loot have a bigger magazine.

The only thing that irks me is the 18 bullets in the r-99 and r-301. 20 rounds to start, 22 with the lvl 1 mag, 25 with the lvl2 mag, 30 with the lvl 3 mag, and 35 with the lvl 4 mag ( so rare that the 15 extra bullets would benefit).

No standard should be what standard really is. Most of these guns would come standard with a 30 round magazine. It would also balance out the viability between automatic weapons and semi auto weapins.

@fulllm3tal its balance issue, also even weapons in real life are issued with smaller magazines around 10 rounds.
If you asking what there's to balance its early weapon pick up vs someone without weapon, they can still survive if the shooter is bad shot etc.. But unlikely with 30+ mag, also late game purple mag ammo size is enough to down purple / gold armor meaning with more weapons pros could actually give you even more problems than they do now.
