Re: Teammates quit almost every game.

@Irres169

No I mean fight when he fights. Most people will stay in the game, at least until executed, if they see that you are fighting the same guys that he died to. Nothing more triggering than when you fight and do well, maybe knock two enemies solo and dies to the third and you think that the third remaining enemy will be a piece of cake for your two randoms. But then you find yourself being slowly executed with your two randoms nowhere to be found and when you become a loot box and goes to spectator mode, you find your teammate sitting like scared rabbits in some building with 0 dmg dealt, full purple armor and peaking with a Sentinel, i.e have done NOTHING to help you in that fight.

But like I said, this is only a tip IF you want your teammates to stay. There are definitely randoms that aren't worth sacrificing your personal advantages just to keep around, i.e those randoms that cant do 300 damage after 4 squad wipes etc. I think you are experienced enough to also immediately spot which randoms are worth playing with as a team and which randoms arent.

    I simply don't quit on people, and I report everyone abandoning matches. I play until last team member dies, or my banner goes gray. Game disruption>abandoned match early - in casual, too. I simply can't quit. I don't know, maybe it's my upbringing.

    Really? Even if you knock two enemies totally by yourself, start fight the third and crack him just before he knocks you and as you lie there with your knockdown shield up, you see him first revive the first teammate then the second before they execute you and when you look at the minimap you see that your two randoms have gone even further away to loot some more buildings?

    Or if you again knock two enemies totally by yourself, get knocked by the third enemy when your teammate arrives. They kill the last and before they revives you, they go from lootbox to lootbox and loot EVERYTHING good even though you did like 80% of the job? They dont even leave you enough heals to heal up

    I usually wait until I am executed before I leave and if my teammate played well that fight, I also wait for a respawn. But I just dont see any reason to continue to play casual mode with people who clearly dont share my game philosophy. No hard feelings, I just leave.

    @Balladalidila I don't ditch people. Except, when I get duo in trio in this broken game (since release, hello Respawn!). And I don't understand why you can't stay, usually, a minute longer in a match. Because bad players usually die fast, right after you. I can also say to them "do not take my banner", however some players can't do even this...

    I had a wraith quit on me the other day while I was going to revive her, I was lifeline.

    We landed in the cooch building, and wiped 2 teams, so at this point you could tell everyone on the team was capable.  Then Wraith gets knocked, I revive her and kill the loba that knocked her,

    And me and the octane kill the other two.

    Wraith gets back up and my heal was out, but as she is healing someone comes in from the left and snipes her.  Insta-quit as I am running to her.

    Ocatane and I went on to win.

    But I don't even get that quit, unless it was a disconnect.

    At this point I don't try to figure out randos on most days I can take care of myself against 2-3 if needed.

    Well, like I said; I always stay if I see my randoms fighting next to me, even if if I get executed. So I guess this is basically what you refer to "a minute longer in a match". But I see no reason why I should stay if I am playing with two randoms that dont have my back. Like people who, after the fight is won and no third parties are coming, loots your lootbox before respawning. If things like that happens, I am out of there.

    And I honestly also practice what I preach. For instance; if my random teammate solos an enemy totally alone and kills him just as I arrive to help him, I NEVER run up to the lootbox to ninja loot. Instead I do what I think everyone should do in that situation, that is, to protect your teammate that now probably is low on health and maybe also ammo, giving him a chance to shield swap and heal up. And in return I get a bit annoyed when my randoms do this; just runs up to the loot boxes you just 1v3 solo and takes everything good when you are forced to back off to heal up.

    Ofc, one instance of such behavior does not make me rage quit (which I never do). But if I see my randoms doing stuff like that again and again, I finally reach a point where I simply dont want to play with them anymore if I die, its simple as that.
