Re: The Apex store is an absolute scam and I don't care about the prices.

@crumpslyHonestly I don’t see the point of items costing apex coins to begin with, I understand it for loot boxes but you might aswell put $4.99 on the gun charms and $18 on the legendary skins instead of 1800 coins or 500 coins

like the ALGS bundles should of been $24.99 not 2500 apex coins so you had to spend $30 just to purchase a bundle... I honestly didn’t buy any of the bundles just for that reason but if it was $24.99 i would of bought one

(there marketing ‘’strategy’’ doesn’t really work and pushes potential customers away

while on the topic of the shop... I feel like there are enough cosmetics in the game’s history from collection events that should be rotating weekly throughout the store... the store is always ‘’meh’’ and I rarely see anything worth buying but if you brought back collection event skins and put them into the store like Wattson's blue racing one I would buy that in a heartbeat

I understand why you didn’t bring back the iron crown originals because they were from the very first collection event but I don’t see any reason why skins from like 6 months ago or a year ago can’t make there way back into the rotation because if you look at Fortnite’s shop they are constantly reusing old skins and they actually have some things worth buying every now and then

Exactly. When something costs 1200 coins, it doesn't actually cost 12$. It costs 20$ because the minimum amount of coins you buy is 1000. And of course there is nothing in the store that costs 1000 coins.

And don't even get me started on the loot boxes. It's literally a 1$ slot machine that yields voice lines that you will never use 75% of the time. It's insane to me.

  • @crumpsly I think Fortnite made it to where if a skin costed 1200 and you had 1000 you could buy just that 200 coins but I haven’t really checked in along time so idk if its still a feature... apex needs a similar feature

I have always thought that they would sell more than twice as much in the store if the prices were halved. If there was something I really wanted I might consider it at the moment, but these events to reveal a new heirloom are just absolutely crazy and I would never pay that much to get hold of one.  I would love to see the percentage of the Apex player base that buy all the packs for these events.  It would surely be mainly YouTubers buying them and probably offsetting them against their tax bill as a business expense.
