If these squads are smart they try to find the best loot possible along the way to the end game. Whether they fight the whole way or take their time making it there. It's making it there that's the real challenge. Any team in the top 5 by then shouldn't feel too badly. It's the nature of the game that things get tougher the further you go regardless of the numbers that remain.
