Re: Volt / Devotion too powerful. Time to kill feels like CoD.

Spot on, just thought I'd add another thing. One of the reasons games like Fortnite are dying is due to the well established meta. The advantage of a two gun system is that you never know what your opponent will be using, and your own load out is different in each game. The, "do I take a sniper or a shotgun?" kind of decision is becoming irrelevant. If everyone ends up using a devotion and volt each game, things will become jaded and uninteresting. Just look at what happened to Fortnite with the scar and the pump/charge

Edit: Now the patch notes have been released, there is a notable improvement. Much credit to respawn for fixing things so fast. However, these changes wouldn't have been necessary had things been balanced from the start.

    Yea really don't understand the dev's decision to less the time of TTK it wasn't very long before and at least when you got shot you still felt like if you hit your shots you could stilled damage before you die or at least heal. But it's kinda just like.... get spotted by a devo/turbo.... Die. or hide for the rest of the game.

    @CRRAZYM3X1CANO respect the decision to just make all shields EVO but lessening the GOLD and RED evo?? I would think they're the best for a reason. but I mean, sure.....

    And with the lowering TTK, there is no even need to swap to your secondary, you will wipe the whole squad with the Devo.

    I can`t .... believe they bring Devotion to the regular weapons and not nerf its damage by quite a lot. Havoc is super strong as well. They give it a new recoil pattern that its super easy to learn in 1 minute.

    Rip Apex Legends.

    The only way they will start listen and learn is by leaving the game.

    @LordloshBang Volt/devotion are the prime example why this game needs a public test server, because apparently the devs are far removed from the ingame reality. There is no way guns firing that fast and so easy to handle should be doing so much dmg per bullet.
