Re: Who is the best agent in Apex legends?

@dan621

I would have said it depends entirely on your personal playstyle. Bloodhound, for example, does not suite my playstyle at all. As a mobility player I prefer Valkyrie or Pathfinder. They're a huge help in making myself harder to hit and harder to kill. That's far more valuable to me than almost any other tactical or ult in the game.

  • I didn't think Bloodhound was something I would enjoy playing. I found Wraith to be powerful in supporting teammates with escapes to safety when knocked. I found Lifeline to be extremely important to be able to continue shooting and covering for players that LL initiated reviving or healing for. I found Loba very important in giving teammates a shop to more easily and QUICKLY find what they need to be most effective in fire fights. But then I decided to try Bloodhound and found it to be as you said very important, as it allows trail blazing, distracting, and a much easier means for the team to see the enemy against the scenery.

    I feel a squad should have either Loba or Lifeline, Bloodhound, and then one other strong legend. Without Loba or Lifeline or without Bloodhound, I feel a team is at a severe disadvantage.

    I also feel very strongly that Loba and Bloodhound should use their ults as often as possible. When I play Loba, I use it nearly as often as it becomes avaiable. When I play Bloodhound, I use it when we travel long distances to the next ring's edge, or just enter a cluster of structures/geometry so that we can more easily see enemies stand out.

    When I play with another Bloodhound, and they never use their ult, then I feel we are suffering unnecessarily. There really is no excuse for that. When the Bloodhound uses his tactical in our location, I feel it is typically misused. It should be used from another angle to distract so the other members of the squad can flank.

    I do agree, pathfinder and even Octane can be very difficult to hit when they are played well. I haven't tried either TBH, but I will eventually. Either of these could round out the squad well.

    And I also agree that it depends upon your play style. My style is more focused on helping my team than being the leader of the team or being the punisher on the team.
