Missing Apex Coins after redeeming Xbox code

**“Hello,

I am playing Apex Legends on PC, but I redeemed an Apex Coins code on Xbox.

At the time I redeemed the code, my Xbox account was not linked to my EA account yet. Now I have already linked my accounts, but I still cannot see the Apex Coins in my account.

I have already tried logging into the game again and waiting, but the coins still do not appear.

I can confirm that the code was successfully redeemed on my end.

Here are my details:

Order number: 5324342578

Date: April 11, 2026

In-game name: zooaunzoo1

Could you please help me check if the coins are tied to my Xbox account and transfer or restore them to my EA account?

Thank you.”**

    Hey zooaunzoo1,

So just to confirm, you redeemed your code on Xbox, and then unlinked your Xbox and linked it to a different EA acccount?

If so, then that's why you don't have your coins. Your data is stored at the EA account level, so by redeeming your code and then disconnecting your Xbox, that doesn't transfer any of the progress or currency you had. You'd need to have linked your Xbox first and then redeemed your code.

Unfortunately it's not possible to transfer progress or currency between EA accounts.

**“No, that’s not the case. I have never linked my Xbox account to any other EA account before.

I simply hadn’t linked my Xbox account at the time I redeemed the code. I only realized afterward that it wasn’t linked yet.

Then I linked my Xbox account to my EA account immediately after that.

So I did not switch or unlink between different EA accounts at any point.”**

That’s why I’m confused about where the Apex Coins went.

    zooaunzoo1,

An Xbox account would have to have been linked to an EA account to play Apex online. If you have an unlinked Xbox, you get prompted to link when you start the game up. It must have been linked before you tried to link it to its current EA account.

No, I have never played Apex on Xbox. I have always played on PC.
