Re: Why is no one talking about crawl speed?

Well finding loot is what i like it forces you to adapt to situations instead of running same setup over and over.
But yeah it might not be for everyone.

I prefer choosing my loadout based on the situation. But I guess that's where my Battlefield background come into it.
I'm way below the skill gap with regards to building a loadout. Combined with the High ttk I feel that I'm making zero progress.
And no, it's not all about my aim. I'm not a pro but I can aim so I resent people saying that.
I'm trying to like it but there are too many hurdles for me.

TTK works both ways dont forget that and you have to adapt to situations based on your loadout it makes every game different.

Completely understood. However this game has too many inherent 'imbalances' with loadouts and such that are simply part of the game and BR formula. It's not my way to play shooters.
I simply want to shoot things not fight for gear to create an imbalanced loadout.

Fight for gear is like first 2-5 min then its shooting with others and getting their gear.

But if you get * gear you can't compete. Which is where I feel I am. I don't feel I ever get gear that's competitive.
The loadout building for me is tedious and frustrating. OR...the learning curve to be good at it is just long.

Sometimes its frustrating when someone gets purple and you have alternator with one clip yeah but after 5min ingame if you are still alive you should be able to compete with nearly anything, meaning shooting head on with someone might not be the answer every time.

Appreciate the perspective (and sorry if we got off on the wrong foot)
"after 5min ingame if you are still alive you should be able to compete with nearly anything"
That hasn't been my experience. I've gotten down to 6 squads or left several times with my son because we were mostly being stealthy. None of those times except 1 did I feel I was geared out well and even then we were still out weaponed by meta gear.
I just haven't found it to be a well rounded experience. Learning curve is way beyond my patience level.

Its fast paced game and being stealthy isnt great, maybe this game isn't for you and you should try pubg where such tactics work better.

I've considered it. Especially that it came to PSN.
It's the developer for Pubg kind of shady though?
I've heard bad things about them.
I just don't think BR is for me. I don't really play pvp to be 'overly competitive'.
I like playing against other people because pve is boring but I don't need such a high level of competition. Not really why I play
