guys,
everyone be your own judge - i can honestly tell you i rage quit in ranked exactly once in the entire season (that was when i learned about the abandonment penalty) and never again, not when i launched by myself, not when my teammates left me behind, neither when one or both quit, and i never dashboarded, not even once
i know it is possible some may have been demoted unjustly, in which case i encourage you to get in touch with EA/Respawn and i’m sure they’ll make it right
for those who did dashboard, whether it was occasionally or because ‘everyone else did’, next time think twice before you exploit in a competitive game mode to get an unfair advantage
