Reloading while near interactive objects

Question

When midfight and your under alot of heat, the last thing anybody wants is to not be able to reload. When your fighting and you have either downed teamates, downed enemys or deathboxes under your feet it comes up with the interact icon which causes you to not be able to reload but interact withe object instead. Not very helful ☹️ (im a console player btw) A solution to this is to priorities reloading your weapon than interacting with the object unless you genuanly held down the interact button. Many times have i encountered this problem and has costed winning the fight.

How about you just fix that and add autoreload like every other game have it. This is so ridiculous. When You pick up extended mag. it automatically starts to reload but when you shoot all your bullets you have to press button always. Gets me killed so many times cause of this one stu**d thing . Especially when u have to switch weapons.

Thanks for the advice but i do not intend to change my (xbox) controller binds. Through every 1st person shooter COD mainly the X button has allways been my reload and interact button, it comes natturaly to me along with the rest of my bonds. Apex has been the only game i have encountered where theese two attributes have clashed. It could be very easily fixed but it's difficult to explain through typing, showing it in-game would be so much easier... ☹️

I really love the way the controller settings are set right now (after i figured out how to change the hit button, though), so I find it easier to use the controller settings right the way it is. What could be changed is that the weapon reloads when you want it to reload, and deathboxes/revive comes second. Two times in one fight today this happened to me, and in earlier fights I had to look up so I didn't get the option to loot a deathbox/revive a teammate.&nbsp;

Under the controller settings you can change it where instead of tapping to reload you can swap it to hold to reload. Try playing around with the 3 different settings they have available to see if that helps.&nbsp;😃

@EA_Blueberry I hope you understand how truly unhelpful that is. Need to instantly open a door to get out? Nope gotta hold the interact button. Need to instantly reload cuz enemies are sprinting at you? Nope. Gotta hold the reload button. Miliseconds matter. 3rd party controllers with more buttons exist, you need to add the option to separate the functionalities. That is the only way to fix thid
