@Faryan735Me or someone else? As far as I can tell all it does is curve around opponents if you just strafe there is a slight curve, and only other thing i notice is it slowers the sights down slightly but still has the recoil to counter, it helps in close range fights but a few times it curved to a knocked opponent
other than a curve of your character and less sensitivity i really dont see any benefits tbh so idk why people are crying, last night i noticed my mouse has a button on it to lower sensitivity but I havnt tried it too much it would probally be great for sniping though, from the 4-5 hrs i played last night on keyboard and mouse I see advantages like much easier to land shots mid to long range and close range i got alot more consistent headshots compared to my aim on a controller but movement wise Im able to move and aim better in fights on controller (while moving in a fast manor) but its what ive played since i started apex and im new to mouse and keyboard so will take time to master movements I guess while maintaining my aim which imo is pretty garbage on m+k but I won a game as kill leader on lifeline with 6 kills with a gold ava from the train but other than that im only good with hemlok or havoc something thats either low recoil or puts out damage in bursts
Once again getting aim assisted across the map by a controller
funny how i watch controller players have 0 recoil while i watch pros like Diego and Aceu and they have at least some recoil they need to control for their gun. an r99 shouldnt shoot like a freaking lazer across the map no matter how good your recoil control is

@BenchwarmerbrewAim assist is only really present in close range and alittle beyond that but not much, if your being laserred across the map its not aim assist

If the user have a 2x or 4x-8x aim assist stills works, aim assist is pretty strong, you only need to know how to use it, i switch to pc from console 8 months ago but i immediately switch to Mouse and keyboard because the controller is just not fair, sometimes you land shots that you don't deserve to land, because apex aim assist is Call of Duty Like.
You only need to see Tsm_Abralalie wipe people with controller on Predator, that * is just OP.

@audiofilomxThe aim assist is so low though compared to a game like fortnite, on fortnite i can shoot people across the map i still miss shots but it atleast can do damage on apex that isnt the case at all, apex aim assist is mainly op in close range with a r-99 or prowler, snipers and stuff it really dosnt help at all atleast not for me lmao I suck at sniping in general, ive been trying mouse and keyboard on a different account and sniping is so much easier on mouse and keyboard, you just move the mouse in the area you want and i land shots consistantly but on controller that just isnt the case its either my sensitivity is too high or low but i just cant smoothly use my joystick to the exact location unless a player is standing still and i have time to do so but on mouse and key its so much simpler ( i lowerred my mouse and key sensitivity to a 2.75 vs the 5 that it was on by default and thats what made it so much smoother) but in close range i can also hitfire alot easier on mouse and key, but depends on the situation and weapons
Controllers do need alittle bit of aim assist because mouse and key have full range of motion while controllers are limited to a tiny box its usually too far and not enough i think I keep my look on a 6 and rest on a 5 maybe a 4 per optic sensitivitys

@FaIIenAngeI777Yes, that is true. I play only PC with both mouse and controller depending on where I am and mouse is a LAZER at range compared to controller, so thats that, but at close range a controller can surpass a twitch wiggly mouse, beacause its much more stable. Also the stick can rotate infinitely so you dont run out of mousepad.
If theyre going to keep Caustic so noob friendly and skill-gap flattening, they may as well keep aim-assist just to keep it "in-style".
