I have never in my life been lazered more by people than what controller players do. Ive went against apex preds and rarely do I ever get 1 magged EXCEPT when its a controller player. This crap is so unfair and should not be on PCthe same person that hits me for 187 in 1 second flat also 1 bursted me for 115 last match with the hemlock. just dropped and 2/3 shots hit me in the head. something ONLY a controller aim assist would do

@BenchwarmerbrewBoo Hoo, Mouse and Keyboard players literally have an advantage at everything elseAlso theres PC Players that use macro which gives aim assist, and theres really no way to know if someone is actually on controller or mouse and keyboard decides guessing based off of movement/aim, and lmfao hemloks do that... its how underrated that weapon is test it out in the firing range, aim assist does not go for headshots as you claim all it does is slow down sights and adds a curve around an opponentyou can’t be blaming aim assist tbh... i tested it out in the firing range and my aim is still decent about 30m away from the dummies and I tried on the targets that have no aim assist at all, and im a trash player... theres players with way better aim than mefor the hemlok situation its 44 damage per headshot... and if hemlok is in burst mode thats 3 shots for 132 damage... you can’t blame that on aim assist lmao I tested hemlok with controller and m+k and its the same either way but alot easier with m+k imo and i NEVER use m+k Another thing a hemloks recoil is straight up... in burst so literally if you just aim for the chest you are guarenteed 2 headshots almost unless your aiming too low but again this is tested on targets that are standing still

U have no clue how we play on PCs with keyboards and mouses dude so please dont say its easier or w.e. cuz u people are killing our game. Buy a PS or an xbox and play there with ur crappy aim and go against players who use the same gaming gear as you then tell you me u are good.

I agree aim assist is * and needs to * off

@audiofilomx Are you talking about console top players or pc controller top players?
Top console players probably do have really good accuracy, because they are the top.
Console doesn’t have the same aim assist as pc, it’s less.

@Sir_Named Pc controller top players; and yeah aim assist is not the same on pc and console, console is just ridiculous, but everyone have it, so there's no issue there, the problem is only on PC, aim assist at close range is OP, even muzzle flash is irrelevant for aim assist, Pc controller players can track easily in low light situations with r-99 only because aim assist, just watch averageaden, soar_jonny, xedmin or daltoosh on ranked and they beam people even with muzzle flash blinding them, that not happened with m/K even aceu, dizzy, shroud, Diegosaurus, etc, are having troubles in low light situations because of muzzle flash, another thing that nobody is considering is that almost every fight in apex is at close range, so you can do a lot of damage, down 1 enemy at mid-long-range, but in order to get the kills you need to get closer and in that moment you will be destroyed by a controller, like Diegosaurus said you will loose 7 out of 10 against a controller player at close range.

@Sir_Named Answering to how do you know it's a controller?, on Pc you can watch them loot after you die, and controller players can't move when looting, everyone at high levels on pc moves while looting. There's one easy way to know.

@audiofilomx Alright, thanks for clarifying whether you know it’s controller or not.
But, let’s say you get into a close range fight. You can still win, as aim assist doesn’t do headshots. (From what I’ve gathered.) So, in effect, you could kill a controller at close range by hitting headshots, thereby out dps-ing them, or surprising them/hitting unexpectedly or something. Plus, the shooting is only one aspect, as m/k players still have the advantage movement-wise.
I don’t see how aim assist on console is ridiculous, it’s less than aim assist on pc.

@Sir_Named Because some people are streaming and when they do I can see if they are on controller or not. That's the only way I know for sure

@MajchiDaFroggoYT I have been an FPS player on PC my whole life with mouse and keyboard and a controller is blatantly inferior.. I am in favor of aim assist going away but in no way is the controller a superior input device for competitive FPS.

This actually is comical. Someone whining because they get lasered. Hmm, someone roasted me... they must be controller. It can't happen if they are not controller. I play on PC and console. I play controller. I am a scrub. I don't laser people. It's not aim assist that is creating these champion players that laser you.

The argument people who defend controllers are using is a terrible one. Namely that 'Controller players aim better but mouse and keyboard is better at everything else so its fine'

Aiming and being able to kill someone quickly is literally the most important part of a FPS game. If you can instantly laser someone with your aim assist and win because of that then it doesnt really matter if they can move better or loot faster with a mouse.

Someone with an aimbot can be the most worthless trash player on the planet, walk across the map in the wide open all game yet still kill anyone because their aim is perfect. The fact that they dont move perfectly or loot quickly is utterly irrelevant. The advantages that mouse and keyboard gives you over controller are secondary in importance. If aim assist perfectly tracks you and you cant perfectly track back, something which is extremely difficult for most people, you will lose even if you move better. This isnt fair.

@Gidoru exactly, at the end, the most important thing is aiming, and the way aim assist is tuned up specifically on games like Apex, Cod or Fornite is OP.
