i@SpyrosFPS Ikr solo mode would fix so many issues lol even if it does mess up queues its worth it for all of the positives
YES. This is exactly what I want. Been able to separate at a certain altitude prevents people flying you off the map, only happened to me once but if I was paying attention I could of avioded it. Plus, if the report system actually works, these people will get banned.
As for landing train yard, it can't happen every game but a 3v3 is better than a 1v3.
This should definitely happen for ranked, my last game 2 idiots went off together in train yard and insta died, I was jump master and carried on to lava fissure and looted the whole place by myself, then died from 3 different directions as the ring was closing in ☹️ This shouldn't be happening in ranked.
- @ZukoThaKid Lmao nah bro they have to implement Solo's its a must . What your seeing is people who dont want to play as a team that are being forced to play as a team. Respawn is doing it to themselves. If they had a Solo que this wouldnt exist banning someone for their preferred style of play isnt an offense.
- @jumanjaydazed u sarcasm bot 😂😏 :P
we are having a serious conversation here!!haha - @ZukoThaKid Ummm, no...
I was going to post same idea, but maybe I can revive it here.
I see a lot emotional and personal perspectives in the thread.
Lets address some: "I will drop solo cause my team mates pick bad places to land" - you, sir, are equally bad team mate. And if you are thinking: "I don't give a * what some "idiot" thinks" proves my point. Yes, I totally agree and HATE it then JM jumps into train yard or other places I consider rubbish to start a game - but I know (and can see from people dropping solo) that some don't like places I choose. And I think those places are good starting positions. And yeah, sometimes you die instantly no mater where you land. That is part of Battle Royal, but to come here and suggest that you alone know good places to start and all other opinions are bad - just shows your 1) lack of understanding 2) that you are probably a bit of a *.
That being said. I agree that solo drops should be fixed. Cause simple fact is that even if you don't like the place JM chose, you have better chance to win together. Of course, if your goal is to just camp and hide your way into top 3, that is a different story.
I personally think this all should start with fixing JM selection. First of all they need to put "jumping out of the airplane training" in firing range somehow, so everyone could learn how to jump more than 600 m. which is basically just aiming at your location.
Second - JM shouldn't be random. I would argue that "I can be JM" option could be added either in menu before you press ready, or while choosing legends. That could solve some problems. And as plan B, if no one wants to be JM - you can 1) give it to player who had the most successful jump history during their games 2) the most experienced player with highest rank, or level.
Third - while in the plane, giving away JM should be only available one time each. if it comes back around - you drop. This all considering person chose to be JM in the first place.
And as for SOLO drops - it should be a limit for that and if you reach that you should get banned for a while at least for that game mode. And as a bonus you could make a button "avoid this team mate".
Or - forget all that and go full North Korea on players and No solo drops and JM can only land if at least one more player agreed with their choice :D
- AreYouShivering5 years agoNew Ace@ZukoThaKid +100 You play trios, so if you disjoint from your team because someone is stupidly hot dropping, then you are a solo player.
Consequences! @ZukoThaKid I am one of those people who openly admit to dropping solo because the game is full of baiters. It's funny how a lot of white knights say this is a "TEAM" game yet this games unofficial name is bait simulator. If you don't want solo drops, then fix the problem to begin with as in stop the * baiting then you won't get solo drops. Since that is never going to happen which is mind boggling that this game is designed NOT to be a bait simulator stuns me.
What do I mean not designed to be a bait simulator? because it's a team game. Nope as in for example if you play PUBG even Shroud could drive across a field and get headshot by a bullet that wasn't meant for him with the exception of level 3 helmet but point is you can be killed so easily which logically speaking means a lot more people should be baiting, which they don't they have like the 5% bait habits like counter strike and any other FPS, team game etc APEX LEGENDS on the other hand can survive sniper headshots with even white armor which would encourage less fear YET people bait like 95% of the time it's insane and *x files intro*.
As an expert of problem solving, the secret is prevention but people not on the autistic spectrum seem to have a knack for waiting until the problem happens then try to fix it. How about (and this will never happen in this community) try not baiting and then you won't get people like me who play solo because I could show you a ton of games on my stream were if I were to say "I bet you £10 that I get baited HARD not even mildly at least 20 games this session" every single one of my viewers, friends and family would say NO BET because I would be richer than amazon. Yesterday a guy stood right behind the guy who killed me as I watched and didn't do anything until after I died. As I was killing a player another ONE was shooting me in the back in the open whilst my TWO, yes that's right TWO so called team mates were in cover, high ground, staring right at this player and did nothing until after I was downed. You don't believe me still come and watch, I bet £100 I get baited HARD, not mildly like these examples, 20 times in a 3 hour session say, you bet?
So my opinion on removing solo jumping is. You must be taking the * or are simply ignorant, the game would be dead, it's already declining to the community's *.- Balladalidila5 years agoSeasoned Ace
Sure we can start enforcing certain playing styles by implementing various rules and in-game limitations and enforce them with punishment but why stop with the rules about team drops?
Why not punish people that runs away from the other teammates as well?
"A player will sustain circle tick damage if he moves more than 300 meters away from the closest teammate if that teammate is closer to the third teammate" ..
Or what about those who did nothing in a fight but always are the first at the loot crate after you soloed an entire team?
"A player can only take loot from a box to a value corresponding to the % dmg dealt he contributed to that enemy's health loss, where the value of items is decided by the items rarity"
Nah Im just joking ofc. I think having restrictions and legislation against how player choose to play this game generally is a bad idea and will only result in even more toxicity than there already is. Just for starters; there isnt even a "right" or "wrong" way in many of these situations. When I play with my Diamond-to-predator premade squad in casuals, we will have a bigger chance of winning the first fight if we spread out alot, since most of us have a statistically favorable chance to win a 1v1 as long as we get a weapon. Also, your team SHOULD drop at different location, if you drop alone at an area, so you can clear that area as fast as possible and move on.
If you want the perfect team, then you have to play premades =)
