Feels like it is not worth to play this game after reaching the max level, only way to get skins after that is by PAYING for them, EA always has this same problem in many of their games. There is no rewards when playing at max level, they should remove the cap and keep the rewards coming. And also add some skins to be unlockable with legend tokens.
Well just because it doesn't forces you into spending doesn't mean it doesn't others, look at mobile "games" they are full of p2w and forced spending, looking at charts they are the biggest earners for investors.
@Prupisek You better hate people that buy all that stuff and encourage investors into these practices, why you think blizzard works on diablo for mobile and in future other ips?
why would we hate them? hate doesn't solve any problems.
It doesn't matter if it's not as bad as BF2 just because something was more unacceptable doesn't excuse this from being unacceptable.
If i have been conditioned to receive Apex crates by the game and then they just stop and i'm now forced to spend hundreds of dollars to finish unlocking the game that's absolutely ridiculous and at that point i will probably move on to another game having spent $0 total.
why not make it a $30 game at that point with a store like Pub G as I have and am more inclined to purchase something from their store and its a B2P game whereas I will never purchase something from apex legends the way the system is currently setup and it cost me nothing to buy. so that seems like a lose lose to me for apex.
if they kept me interested by allowing me to continue to earn apex crates i would then be inclined to buy a battle pass and stay interested in this game long term but as the current model stands they wont be making any money from me.

I definitely think that the ability to earn a loot after hitting the max cap is needed. The loot crate is a major incentive to keep playing.
If anything if they want to push real money purchases but still be fair to the community I suggest that for players that reach the max level up cap from that point forward after accumulating a certain amount of XP they are awarded at least one loot box if not three. That way they are still playing to earn something in addition to any items in the store they are motivated enough to actually buy with really money.
