I have to agree that the change is unnecessary and that it does look like a little help for controller users but everyone on this input seems to be running scripts nowadays and i bet there are a lot of people even using soft aim bot software disguising it as aim assist and therefore all the complains. Unless they sort all of these forms of cheating the game sadly will always be in a state of coma till it dies.
then it's simple just get rid of aim assist like every decent fps nowadays and we'll get rid of most cheater for free.
