Something like that might be cool to see, although the possibilites of that can be a bit broken.
I am pessimistic about the rework too.
I am worried they will take away certain things in his kit like his wall climb. And his tactical works for me I always get hits and sometimes enemies will walk into it.
I wonder if his hit box could solved by giving him the fortified perk. But he's not exactly as easy a target as Gibby Castle and Caustic.
His Ultimate is the thing I'd rework a quicker cool down would honestly be great.
Better control over his climbing and the ability to hang off a wall or temporarily stop climbing midway.
I'm not opposed to wall running but not sure if that will make him better.

I think Revenant could be buffed in the following way.
Give Legends the fortified perk whilst using Death protection. (Doesn't stack with Legend's that already have it)
Revenant could also have threat vision through his tactical similar to Caustic.
And maybe give his mele damage a boost to 35.
- Zulkiers3 years agoSeasoned AceI love current revenant. I enjoy wall climb and fast crouch speed, but not so much the random sliding. I enjoy the Silence and it is practically a guaranteed hit. I enjoy the death protection, and as a totem it might be able to be placed on a trident, but I have yet to test that.
I hate Bangalore's and Gibraltar's Ultimates as the flare/Grenade effect is lousy in my opinion. I would hate if they did that to Revenant.
As an instant cast, where would they teleport to if their shadow selves are killed? back in a 6-way crossfire? they'd instantly die
As a totem at least they have a point to teleport to
I do like the idea of increasing Shadow HP to 150, and the heal on kills, but the heal on kills would probably be melee or close range kills to sap health from... And the speed buff as well.
Kinda like Ballistic's Ultimate, which causes all effected to run at unarmed speed even while armed.
Melee damage boost + unarmed speed boost + heal on melee kills would make shadows even more awesome, and probably scarier.
As for audio and visual, I think they're fine.
Louder audio on them would result in shadows being useless, as they'd get blasted or grenaded to bits before they see who's shooting them.
As would be terrible for shadow ambushes as the audio would scream "Hey we are shadows lurking here, prepare to wipe us out as we don't know where you are yet..."

The abilities should remain the same and hardly be changed. Definitely NOT a total rework.
