Rework respawning..

Got a few ideas to help out with respawning your teammates, everybody would rather queue up again instead of respawn - i'm one of them. The reasons I quite are - I looted so hard and now lost all m...

I'm with @XHelperZ on this. Not only would I not want the respawn feature to be made any easier, I'd like to see it removed from the game entirely.

    @reconzero Well then remove it, however, if that were the case the developers would not have put it in the game to begin with. Secondly, the devs keep adding things like "are you sure you wanna quit? You can be respawned!" and in loading screens "you aren't dead yet! Players have a chance to respawn you" etc etc. The game is designed to have a respawn feature, however, the current one is simply pointless and doesn't allow you to respawn, instead, you signal a "come kill me" beacon. Your team has a better chance of winning/surviving if they do not respawn you.

      I get why the dev put the mechanic in the game. I also get why they executed as they did, making if very difficult to recover from, or even survive, a late-game respawn. I guess I'd say that's the balance between allowing it in the first place and making sure it isn't a complete get-out-of-jail-free card.

      When I said remove it, I realize that's not going to happen, and I understand that the reason it exists in the first place is to allow squads of friends to stick together from one match to the next. I'm a solo queuer so I don't need to stick with anyone, and largely prefer not to. I'm also that guy that will usually quit when downed for exactly the reason you said: "Your team has a better chance of winning/surviving if they do not respawn you." That and the fact that I refuse to let the guy who killed me once try and kill me again.

        I would completely disagree that its a get out of jail free card. Its very pointless and many people quit before even trying the respawn.

        I also disagree with the point of it being that friends stick together. it is so TEAMS stick together, however, its never done that way. Apex is all about sticking with your team, even if that team is a bunch of randos, you don't quit. Also, if you're a solo queuer, you shouldn't be having teams to respawn you.. you should immediately be killed.

        The fact teams have a better chance of winning/surviving without respawning downed teammates is why the respawn system needs to be fixed, or removed. But its super unhelpful.

        Lastly, I don't refuse to let the guy who killed me do it again, I come back with a vengeance, and if I have even a P2020, I may actually win.
