RP penalty for zero damage

Sounds like a great idea and totally fair.
Lets do it right then.
Bronze player doing 0 dmg = -100 RP penalty
Silver player doing 0 dmg = -200 RP penalty
Gold player doing 0 dmg = -300 RP penalty
Plat player doing 0 dmg = -400 RP penalty
Diamond player doing 0 dmg = -500RP penalty
Master player doing 0 dmg = -600 RP penalty
Predator player doing 0 dmg = -700 RP penalty
and because such a thing never happens to you and it is your great idea if and when it happen to you -800 RP.
Really stuff happens and even the good players end up in a bad spot or get surprised and the penalty is they die and really that is enough. The skill gaps are wide and pitting plats vs vs preds would just screw that up even more, let alone Plats in Bronze lobbies. MM needs to be fixed and made fair. why should a gold player be stuck with two Bronze players on their team why should bronze players be playing VS gold or better players and golds should also never be playing with or against Diamonds.

- the error in this statement is that the penalty for bad plays is weighed equally across the whole team. This allows players to take risks in ranked that they shouldn't take because the cost of doing so is spread across their team. For pre-made teams, that actually makes sense. But for solo queue teams you end up socializing the point system, reducing the risk of bad plays for players that don't prioritize team play. This makes it very difficult statistically for a solo queue player to properly compete in ranked.
But sure. I'll take the 800 point hit if it helps the overall community fix the game. Given how frequently this happens to me I'm willing to bet I'd end up further ahead anyhow.
yes I was partially making some fun there. But really in all honesty the suggestion you made is not in anyway fair.
If this is one of the woes of the solo Q'er things then I would suggest the best way to mitigate that and how matchmaking pairs you up with Randoms on your team, you should go out and find some standard squad-mates to play with.
