@Palette24caratsAim Assist didnt become a topic bcs of some cheat discussion. It was and will be hated by any aim purists , since it is an automatic, has a 0ms reaction time (test your own reaction on "human benchmark" and ill bet you dont get a 100ms VRT score ...), aim slowdown and its known to work through obstacles or smoke at times which it should not do (a bug used as a soft wallhack). And this is without the infamous "0.4"or now "0.3" values (which were introduced as a reaction to the R5Reloaded stats, a fact that respawn knew for years, kept a lid on it ... but still talked competitive integrity ...).
Controller emulators made the situation even worse, but thats a whole different topic.
Its only there to make an otherwise unsuitable input device "competitive" in FPS games to generate more money for the publisher.
Mixing those Inputs was the worst thing that could have ever happend to to the FPS Genre, now we are stuck with people being angry at each other, only bcs some brainiacs thought it would be good for profit to mix those inputs and give one an automatic to compete ... a reaction that was foreseeable.
If you look at the "brain-farts" of Activision, youll see what the future has in stock for us (maybe its already in place, who knows ...)
