I Agree that those ranked statistics are poor way to measure even ranked games, as those numbers do not tell why many peoples stop trying after certain thresholds, so it definitely should not be used for sbmm either.
For as long there is peoples who wanna smurf/pub stomp there will not be working sbmm
- If ranked queue would be well done experience for solo players it would retain the need for some players to just start playing pubs after certain thresholds
- SBMM should only be implimented from levels 1-50 so players who wanna stomp are required to see more effort into getting these lobbies and vice versa they get nothing out of it on their main accounts, primarily using noob lobbies to get 20 kill/ 4k badge and nothing else
I think the point of SBMM is to see who belongs in the correct % of ranked. Series 2 etc we seen a influx of preds then every single season combined. This was to make sure the proper % of apex players and preds was placed and directly earned to be there which is not many. A lot of preds complained about this and found it very weird that such a influx came about. This allowed proper pred/master placings which is now very low % who earned it.
