@GucciiWallet Not going to fan the flames for you.
It's not that I want to own noobs all day long, it's that when sbmm is removed we have a better mix: some pro, some good, some okay and others bad. This makes it more fun because as an above average player you can have it all - kills, intense fights and fun moments.
When an essentially ranked (without points) system is put into play you strip away alot of fun elements to the match, which leaves just the challenging aspects.
Problem is we already have a challenged queue, ranked with points. So now we have two queues, exactly the same, one with and the other without points. But the match making is the same... (Assuming it is).
People enjoy games more when they do well. After you win 100 times over, winning is important but not the soul of the game. The soul is trying to beat your own records, usually kills, or 'get on a roll' with some friends.
Having two queues essentially creating the same sweat fest gameplay damages the soul of the game.
Unranked should be as close to the original vanilla version of apex as possible (plus balances, guns and content etc). The matchmaking and experience should try to keep it close to what made the game magical.
Have three queues can easily make this happen.
Ranked - includes all changes to match making and game content
Unranked - includes changes to game content only
Limit Time Events - includes any changes devs feel necessary to make it work.

How do you know the rank of all your oponents?
I mean you encounter 3-4 other sqauds during the match, do you look at all 9-12 player stats after the fight/during the fight?
Sounds unbelievable for me to do that... Lot of work!
I think your view ist heavily biased, because the squad that kills you (and I bet this is the ONLY one, which stats you look at) tends to be better than yours.
Advice from me:
1. DO NOT JUMP TO THE KNOWN HOT ZONES! Good players with premade squads will dominate this places against random squads without communication.
2. Take your time to loot without any fight at least for 5-10 minutes. If you hear shots, don't run towards it, this is no dumb horror movie...
3. Avoid known hotzones (cities) until your squad has acceptable equipment.
75% of players want a fast fight and jump into known hotzones, just to be killed in 30 seconds surrounded by 4 other squads.
STOP IT! This is not Battlefield!

Sbmm has changed unranked, I don't need to look at everyone's stats to know that.
I used to consistently get 7+ kills a game in unranked. Even given World's Edge is a bigger map, I'm averaging only 3-4 kills a game. Sometimes I do much better, around 10 kills, but the consistency is key to knowing im playing harder teammates via sbmm in unranked'.
I used to win 1 out of every 3 games in unranked. Now it's maybe 1/10 games.
It's fairly easy to tell the competition in unranked is more fierce due to sbmm.

Well, first off I am glad I do not have to play against you any longer! So SBMM did exactly the right thing for me, giving me beatable opponents...
Normally I do 1-2 kills per match, with 500-1000 damage. I win 1/20 matches I guess, didnt make a list or something.
Putting an end to sealclubbing is exactly the right thing! And will attract many new players.
Experienced players get harder oppenents, making them train harder in normal mode and learning more!
Ok, you will miss stomping/sealclubbing, but maybe there will be more exitement again?
THANKS EA/RESPAWN FOT SBMM! GOOD JOB!

Some guy told me - Your k/d ratio doesn't matter. If you Diamond in ranked you will be with Diamonds and Predators in Basic. Reaching Diamond in ranked is super easy when you're playing with friends only. You guys will say this is BS but nope, one of my friends I play with at ranked is 1.3 k/d and every round in basic he is with 30% Apex Predators 40% Diamonds and 30% normal players.
