Scripts don't work anymore, it's ridiculous
So I came back to the game after 4 month break. Noticed that you guys killed one of the most fun techniques in the game:
Removed an exploit that allowed to “bunny hop” while healing.
- nevertheless I think I could live with it ☹️
And along side you did this:
Removed the ability for players to change game settings not intended to be modified on a client level. Our intent is to prevent exploits like removing muzzle flash, disabling lighting, and other changes that give players an unfair competitive advantage.
Ok, this one sounds fine... but hold-on!
When I started the game yesterday I literally couldn't move coz I'd been using Null-canceler script which allowed me to play comfortably on my sh***y razer keyboard.
You also deprived people from using alias'es... which I think is the major issue here. (I'll talk about it later).
Nor we can bind +jump on MWHEEL now. So I am (alongside thousands of players) in disadvantage now, coz I don't have an expensive keyboard with consistent SPACE bar.
Some might think that this bhop nerf is a good thing, but in reality it squeezes the gap between no-brain players (i.e. low-skill & cheaters) and skilled players.
So, regarding aliases (and other commands you banished).
Due to the change most of my quality of life scripts don't work anymore.
Among them:
Autosprint - which allowed my hands to rest while moving from one location to other. (and it helped me to eat a cookie and drink coffee at the same time).
Game volume binds (incrementvar sound_volume) - which allowed me to adjust volume in-game.
Null-canceller - I mentioned at the beginning.
And I can't bind keyboard shortcuts (like shift+key), since
alias "+jjj" "bla-bla" alias "-jjj" "bla-bla"
ofc doesn't work either.

Now I'm thinking of dumping the game, but still would like to hear some reply from devs.
