@Midnight9746Map rotation is a plus.
The anniversary deco seemed nice at first, but I've noticed a lot of framerate drops. Currently working with other forum goers to troubleshoot. I'm sure it's some combo of old console and game pushing graphical envelope, and so the forced obsolescence goes....
The new classes and all their attendant abilities seems a little contrived to me. "How do we make super heroes feel amazing and new without actually messing up game balance?" And don't get used to any of it. I have no doubt there will be round after round of balance nerfs and buffs.
New gun: Over-powered. Don't care. I'm sure it will get "fine tuned" into obscurity.
Matchmaking: new season, no changes. That's bad, in case anyone was unclear on the point.
Smurfing is rampant and shameless and it always has been and it always will be so there's no point in even going into it.
TDM is a sewer. A gameplay sewer. A matchmaking sewer. A quitting sewer. It strips away all the fun of battle royale and leaves nothing but the most frustrating, cheat-prone aspects of fps gameplay. I can't see any other end for it except the same fate which befell arenas. I hope I'm wrong for the sake of the people who seem to love it. Time will tell.
Season 16 sum up: a lot of little changes that make players feel like they have fun, new stuff to do and learn, when in reality nothing really changed. Certainly nothing that could really have used the time and attention, such as matchmaking. New season, same game.
