I was disconnected from my match due to internet connection. Immediately reloaded into the game and it pushed me straight to the lobby with an abandonment penalty and major LP loss. I know it’s early in the season so bugs are expected, but please fix soon.
This has been a huge issue. Many of the people I have played with (I’m pretty certain all of them) have had this happen to them too, at least once. It’s really frustrating when you have a full squad and no one is intentionally trying to quit the game. When the issue happens for me, the game freezes and does not load the match, I have to end the task and reload the app. Only once in a while does it actually allow the person to go back into the game. Most of the time, the person cannot rejoin the match they never intended to quit, aaaaaand they lose over 100 ranked points. Now don’t get me wrong, I do think having a game penalty helps prevent people from quitting ranked matches, but the issue is that we aren’t trying to quit the matches!
