[Season 6] Crypto Feedback
The recent update to crypto has killed any chance of crypto becoming a good legend.
Crypto’s emp, by far the greatest thing about him, cannot be used for offensive or defensive maneuvers anymore...

EMP will now slow teammates caught in the blast, even if they had no shields. This means that players who have used Revenant’s Death Totem will also be slowed.
- Surveillance Drone 30HP → 60HP
- Surveillance Drone hitbox size: cube of edge length 16 → cube of edge length 24
This Crypto re-scale is very poor design. EMP is not always use for offensive, but to provide the necessary space for teammate to retreat to better position or to healed themselves. Making EMP able to slow teammates who get caught in the blast literally ruined some of the defensive strategy Crypto can used. What's more when Crypto was using drone already turn the situation to 2 vs 3 if there isn't any good spot to hide the drone.
If Death Totem is the balance issues, then it should only affect the teammate while under the totem effect.
Drone being destroy have a long cooldown and maps such as World Edge rarely have good spot to hide it. Even with the teaser preview of new World Edge, it still look so bad for the drone itself. Increasing the hitbox would just make the drone way too easy to destroy and double the health isn't going to solved it. The drone is noisy, very visible and can be easily caught by thermal sight or legend such as Bloodhound.
Able to use Respawn & Survey beacon instantly isn't going to get people to use it especially when there is still a mobile respawn beacon and Bloodhound scan was instantaneous with short cooldown after the Beast of the Hunter buff. If anything, you just literally kill this legend rather than buffing it.

- @QWingz yes and they buff bloodhound even more and make pathfinder even more of a garbage legend. i'm telling you guys respawn has toddlers working on this game.
Are we talking about the fact that he counters with ult, Caustic gaz, Wattson fences and pylon, rampart turret for like 4 seconds and her walla i think (not sure) and Loba's ult ?? And rrmove 2 bars of shield, so he can push or cancel an ennemy's push by lowering their shields
- @Igeere1 I did address that in one of my previous replies. However, I’ve been on the receiving end as the above mentioned legends. It is to easy to pull up the equipment, when the drone is heard, and drop it again after the emp blast. Especially now that the team will have 4-5 seconds while the crypto team runs up.
And apparently he does make Totem and lifeline drone inneficient, do you want him to being able to cancel all tacticals ? Seriously Im not saying he didnt deserve a buff but should most likely be completely rework, to his passive that kills Path's passive to his ult, his tactical is okay tho and your team can Rev Totem or portal and start rushing while the emp is occuring ... So 4-5 secs, let's say it depends on your team' brain and the position of the ennemy team, if you emp a team rhat is 100 meters away your emp is useless, if you rmp a team that is 20 meters away stick in a really small buildimg while your wraith is portaling to them, you have a free team whipe. So he should be rework tbh not buffed again and again or getting nerf.
