Try using alternate DNS settings. From the Xbox One screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
Also, when you say you cleared the cache, do you mean the alternate MAC address? If not, try these steps:
Go to your Xbox One Settings (Just press Start, then click Settings)
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

I could not get any Apex or other game severs to appear when I followed the steps in the link you sent. There was only one option that came up and below is the results of that test.

This is just a test server. It's not one Apex is played on. Can you run the test again and follow all the instructions? Unless you're next door to the server, there should be a dozen or more hops your data passes through.
- 5 years ago@EA_Aljo I followed the instructions but no other servers are available

Is this what you're looking for?

Just to be sure, was this run on a wired connection?
It was run from my computer which is wireless

That won't work since you play on a wired connection. You need to replicate the connection you play on to get accurate results. Are you able to use a wire for the test instead?

Here's wired result

I'm not seeing any issues with your test. How bad is the lag you're experiencing?
- 5 years ago@EA_Aljo Essentially makes the game unplayable. When attempting to pick things up or open supply bins, there's a lag. Every single time we engage with another team, the lag starts. All my friends on Xbox One have experienced it since 1-2 weeks after start of Season 9. We went from playing 2-4 hrs a day to 0.

Have you tried a new HDMI cable? I understand that may sound weird, but especially if you've used the same one for several years, a new HDMI cable may make a difference.

@EA_AljoMaybe it’s on your end how is it any other game utilizing multiplayer isn’t experiencing issues this bad and yet your game since this season has been beyond broken😡
- 5 years ago
@FRUMUNDADeezIt feels like a twilight zone. The number of people I know with this same issue and they’re not doing anything about it?? Makes me feel like they know exactly the reason and the only solution will be to upgrade to the new Xbox.

Guys, PC or console, you're all wasting your time.
I created a thread and highlighted the server and matchmaking issues with a complete breakdown of where the problems are here:
Solved: Servers: Troubleshooting for EA/Respawn and Multiplay - Answer HQ
We got an official EA response just over a month later from ricklesauceur, lead engineer on Apex Legends:
What Makes Apex Tick: A Developer Deep Dive into Servers and Netcode (ea.com)
In short, they failed to address the server/network infrastructure and the matchmaking with no real improvements coming in the future so enjoy your 20 tick servers.
Any complaints will always fall on deaf ears when it comes to EA/Respawn but at least they put a server ID on your performance display. 🤡
- 5 years ago@apostolateofDOOM what do you mean by "put a server ID on your performance display"?
@Dirtyburrito425The performance display that shows your ping, packet loss ect.. This now has a server ID that wasn't there before.
- 5 years ago@apostolateofDOOM You clearly understand this stuff better than me. In your opinion, how does it make any sense that I've been playing this game since it came out without a single issue, than after season 9 is released it's constant lag?
@Dirtyburrito425That was a work in progress from a lot of different sources over a period of time. I'm honestly not that tech savvy with this stuff but wanted to find a solution that myself, a lot of my friends and forum users were having.
If i were to hazard a few guesses, it could be something to do with the games update, your network (more devices, restarted router or altered settings or something else sucking the bandwidth) or it could just be account specific as others have created alts and not had the problem then come back and still it's still there on their main.
For most top end PC users, you can feel the jagged quicksand for lack of a better way of describing it, then lag compensation for high ping players (getting shot through doors ect) and that's all on their end as users can see it both in their experience but also the streamers that promote the game.EA and Respawn are just bad at addressing problems because they don't care and the only reason we got that reply was because i rallied support and kept it on their front page for 6 weeks making it harder for them to ignore as time went on.
I have since given up that effort and stopped playing.
