It’s true that this game isn’t a nobrainer. And you have to pay attention and be a bit tactic in your decisions in game.
Hint, the more kills and the longer you are alive in a match. The more XP you get and AT.
I’ve played for only two days. Approx. 6hrs a day. And was able to unlock the first legend at lvl 20.
In my opinion, it is fairly balanced.
And if you don’t want to grind. Luckily there is the option to buy AC to unlock the legends. (Not as fun, and kinda experience ruining, in my opinion).
Seems fair to me. It’s like. If you play the game as intended and with a bit of patience and hard work. You’ll get to your goal in no time.
On the other hand, if you lack of patience and don’t want to put a bit of effort into it. You’ll have to pay.
Sounds to me as a logically reasenable way to design a Free to play game.
There are plenty of other games that isn’t FtP and doesn’t offer this balanced option to unlock items/characters.
To to sum it up.
If you fall in between the category of, on one side “spoiled brats” and the other “true gamer”. As in 60% of all players will.
You will have a hard time getting along with this game. Since there is an actual challenge to it. And is not just done over a couple of hours.
Fair play to the devs. And good job EA. For not ruining this one (yet).
