Server Tickrate
Can we get servers with a tickrate of higher than 20/s? This is particularly important due to all weapons in the game being projectiles, and while I have limited to experience with the Titan Fall ...

@Comanglia I am second to this. I played over 10000 hours (yes 10k) of Battlefield (mainly BF4) and 3k Arma, a little PUBG and TF2 etc but Apex TTK and netcode system and tickrate is plain bad joke, terrible all in all in many aspects. I already paid more for Apex than for Bf4 with DLCs but BF4 is like TEN times better with it s netcode/hit registration, TTK and tickrates. Apex is BS! You empty 1-2 mags of ammo into enemies from 20 meter or less and they do not die or even get knocked (LOL) than they kill you by a SINGLE shot of something... (nearly 200 damage). In BF4 everything feels snappy and competitive and spot on. Apex feels liek PUBG (while Apex is an EA AA title bbut PUBG is an Asian 1st game startup...).
when the bad netcode of BF4 feels better than ur game, you know you messed up...
The worst thing is they dont adress this issue at all !
Ladies and Gents, I really hope this gets traction. I have been saying this in the forums since launch. According to an article I just read EA (publisher) just made almost a billion $ in microtransactions last quarter. Maybe they'll toss a few coins to Respawn and get this fixed.
Im also a network engineer and done my fair share of tests. This games tickrate and lag compensation is insanely off. Fingers crossed. Love the game but will not keep playing if they dont do something soon.
The game is very good, and I love source engine (despite all the hackers movement and physics feel great)
But the servers, delays in movement, dammage, door interaction etc... is ruinning the game, especially the competitive scene.I don't see esport on Apex getting big without real servers.
