- Servers -Servers are absolute terrible in Season 13. I had even gotten a better internet connection, and I'm still dealing with server issues. I haven't had much of the code net, leaf, etcs. but there's still rubber banding, zero audio, teleporting enemies, etc.This is clearly a server wide thing that needs to stop being ignored.- Matchmaking -I don't know what was changed for matchmaking, but you cannot play "casual" anymore, as the top % of masters/pred players are always in the match - at least for players like me. The highest rank I've reached was Plat III (in past seasons - I haven't played ranked this season as much due to waiting for all these high ranking players to get back into their proper lobbies and ranks).The game just feels highly unplayable, and it seems like there's more people cheating. I was getting shot at by people who's view were blocked by trees, seeing player's aim snap to targets, ton of anti-recoiling, etc.- Overall -The game isn't as fun as it used to be, and we still have issues like audio not playing. I was sliding down a hill near the crashed ship on Storm Point, and heard the water splashing, and then suddenly heard no audio at all. Once I stopped sliding, the water splashing sound started to play again. (Also I was sliding through a layer of water as I saw the particles and can hear it when I walked back over it).I understand the game is free to play, but with all the expensive skins and collection events; I'd imagine there's enough to actually fix and improve the game. It doesn't seem like anything is going to get fixed though.

@Midnight9746You also can’t solo Que pubs anymore because you always have multiple pred/masters stacks. While the teammate youre given may actually be a bot. Matchmaking is non-existent.

Maybe something like Farming Simulator from 2008 could run well with 20hz, but not a competitive game like apex lol.

@trackstar808 Yeah, and when I actually play with friends (a non ranked causual player, and a gold II/causual player), we all get shoved into more crazier lobbies.Last season I could at least hold my own. This season I feel like everyone are gods and I somehow ended up in the final ALG match. I'm nowhere near skilled enough for those kind of lobbies; hence still being stuck in plat in previous seasons.

@Midnight9746 The server is really a 50/50 situation where half my games have good performance but the other half are just terrible and feels like I am playing at 30 fps, even though my FPS is 140-240 at all times, with a mouse sens that jumps up and down from my default of 1.4 to 0.5 (i.e sluggish "feeling"). One thing that Ive noticed is that the ping to the server has nothing to do with the performance. Ive had matches when my ping showed 25-30 but everyone was lagging like crazy (confirmed by both my random teammates) and I have had matches with 60 ping but the game run smoothly and felt great. So its definitly something else going on there.But on the matchmaking issue - have you tried to play ranked and "pretend" its casual? I really dont have time to grind hours and hours in high elo ranked with my premades anymore so I usually only play 2-3 matches and the stops there and perhaps come back later for another 2-3 matches and I think ranked as solo is actually quite nice. People say that ranked has become "harder" but that just means two things;1) its harder for a player to rank above their actual skill level, which is good since it allows you to play longer at a suitable rank for your skill level2) it takes a bit longer time to rank up , which also is good for the same reason as above.But all in all, the skill level in low elo ranked is quite the same as before IMO. Ive played one account totally solo queue from Bronze4 to Gold4 with a winrate of 15% and KD of 1.9, which probably is a bit lower than in the old system but I started to play when all Diamonds were reset to Bronze. My real KD in just silver4-silver1 is probably 2.5+ tbh... So what I mean is that you probably could play ranked somewhere in silver etc and play as if it was casual and have a more casual experience than in normal mode.

It seems like the servers are being DDOS'ed again, and in a way where it looks like its the servers being terrible. I landed with another team, and suddenly got a bunch of errors ranging from latency to packet loss, and this "server lag" went away the moment a non-lagging team killed my team.

Basically, being around this team was like playing on 500+ ping, while spectating them was like 15 or so ping.

If I was actually lagging, I shouldn't be seeing their point of view having no lag issues. All members on the enemy team weren't rubberbanding, lagging, or anything. The errors in the top right also went away when I had died. So, this seems like my connection was only lagging, as I was their competition, otherwise it wouldn't just go away after being killed. I've had actual connection issues and still saw the enemy team lagging around due to my connection.

Although I don't know if that is a coincidence the game started out lagging when landing near this team, or if this team was DDOSing our connections to slow us down. Considering there's console players crashing ranked lobbies when they lose, its not hard for me to believe that people found new methods.

I keep getting kicked during ranked match's with my friends.. get (out of sync with server) message but I didn't leave. It kicked me. Now I have to keep waiting 10min penalty for something out of my control

@Midnight9746 Same here, since szn 13 my lag has been so bad the game is literally unplayable. I’ve had the same audio issues, and people somehow being able to shoot through walls, trees etc. EA don’t seem bothered at all considering the large amounts of complaints… i’ve spent a lot of money on apex since szn 1 and lag has been a consistent problem but now it’s much worse than before

During peak hours in the US, the game is almost impossible to enjoy. I am an average player & I get destroyed multiple games in a row. SBMM seems to do nothing about it either. I just keep getting melted. Why do I play this game again? I forget.
