I see a couple of threads talking about how strong shadows are, but let's be real almost every lobby is 10 Legends vs 7 or 10 shadows. Shadows nerf threads is simply a L2P issue.I personally leave if I die, mainly because I want to complete the challenge win 25 times as a legend, there is no incentive for me to stay and play as a shadow. There should be more incentives to be a shadow. Increase XP or add challenges for them would be a good start. An empty lobby is no fun, we can all agree on that.

@FlV3SIf it were "Escape on the drop-ship or eleminate every legend 25 times in Shadowfall" and not "Escape on the drop-ship 25 times in Shadowfall", then there wouldn't be any problem....

@DraknasChanYou didnt get the point.Apex, should encourage players or reward to stay in shadows.To balance the game and not bored you just camp and wait for the evac-ship, because no more shadows defending.

They should have offered two kinds of badges from the beginning, each one for:25 wins with shadows (Shadow badge)25 wins with legends (Escape badge)This way, they could keep up the motivation to play.This event will still run for 2 weeks, people are bored already.

I've done the badge, but I still quit instead of playing shadows; it's simply not a fun gameplay loop.⚽ Spawn ->Wait for 20 seconds while you drop ->🏈 attack ->win, goto 🏈;die, goto ⚽.

@mustaberdasher Then I have done the impossible multiple times. If the ‘impossible’ was a ‘woman’ she’d be pregnant with at least octuplets by how good I did it.But nahhh, either you’re just getting into bad lobbies/games or you need to revise your tactic. I got my shadow win in the first 10 times playing as a shadow...

@DraknasChan I mean it is called a challenge for a reason, not everyone is supposed to have it. I am at 20 wins because most games I play are 10 legends vs 10 shadows. Shadows leaving early as soon as they die is the main issue of this thread.

@FlV3SYes, they are leaving the games, why is that? I suppose because of the event quest which I have already mentioned. If you are doing the Escape quest, then why you should keep playing as shadow if you're focusing on the quest? Its just waste of time, from this perspective. (I think)

@DraknasChan Couldn't agree more, the challenge is one of the reasons why players leave games early. Which makes the experience very boring.

in my games, every time is 15+ shadow vs less than 10 people and even the last 10 are not all sticking together.

why can't someone simply design a event that is human vs shadow and you can choice to be on which side, and last person standing win, and no respawn that is much more easy.

actually the point of being shadow is if you can't get it don't let other getting it either.

There must be a system to choose at random 3 guys that start as Shadows. But this is a temporary event so they won't change anything.
