I need to a key to mute the squad, I can't tab/click/click mute when I'm dropping from the ship. Some people enjoy making terrible noises, screams, and other * sounds, it's a nightmare. Also please push to talk by default....

@IDistheneThere is an option for you to mute your squad. Not sure if it applies to PC but you can mute them either during character selection or mute them individually once the game starts (by pressing start in-game and going to the Squad tab and there's a speaker right below the characters that allows you to mute them.
On PC I can mute my squad by pressing the F button on my keyboard during legend select.
Might want to check your key binds and find one that works for you.
