Skill based match making
As an individual who loved apex legends since launch i am very passionate about the game, i play every day as much as i can and always look forward to what’s next for apex, but skill based match making is something that MUST be removed. this not only goes for apex but ALL games, skill based match making is designed to make every fight you get into a 50/50 chance of you winning, by putting you in lobbies with people at the same skill level as you. But hopefully others can agree that it is a flawed design and not needed. SBMM makes it so if you are like me and relatively good at the game you are facing lobbies filled to the brim of 15000 kill players who are most likely apex predators, and I COMPLETLY UNDERSTAND that there are people out there that want the challenge that want to constantly push their skills, but there are days where people like me have rough days and all they want to do is relax and enjoy some apex, but instead are thrown into a rage of being killed of spawn and being absolutely destroyed by players who are supposed to be the same skill level as them but have 10,000+ kills with wraith or pathfinder and they only have 7,000 kills total. there are just those days where you want to run into a person who doesn’t know what they are doing or doesn’t have a r-99 wingman combo as their inventory that you can just destroy with no issues what so ever and have fun. if people want that challenge off playing against tough competition game after game THEN GO PLAY RANKED, this is what ranked is made for!! what is the point in making public matches with SBMM when there is a mode dedicated to challenging you and having a higher difficulty. SBMM does not make it so you have a 50% chance of winning the game it means everytime you see a enemy team you there is a 50% chance that that player is going to make you want to uninstall the game. Apex needs to either take SBMM out of the game completely at lease make it optional because in today’s game we are playing two versions of ranked and it makes the game less than enjoyable and as a person who LOVES this video game I do not want skill based match making to ruin this game for me and others like me.
