"And how are they going to prevent that better players will start new accounts to go into noob lobbies to slay out?"
They will not, but it will at least reduce the stomping. Since the veteran play will skyrocket through the ranks.
And while i don't think a ladder clearly splitting players in various ranks is bad. Stopping streamers that play 12 hours a day being matched against noobs lvl 1, like happened in that pathetic "rivals" event, would be a great start.
I would consider myself above average, but i have friends that are just starting to play on PC and seeing them get stomped by players with rank 60 with over 1k of kills isn't fun. They complain and they have the right to complain. Because at this point they aren't even playing the game, they are just moving targets so other people look good.
That story of "how they will learn then?" is said by people that either don't know * about the game and want easy kills or people that doesn't understand skill progression.
You learn something from people that are slightly above you. Not from people are so high that you don't even understand what they are doing or talking about. In a more real world situation; saying they will learn something from getting stomped by these players is the same as giving a trigonometric exercise to a kid that just learned addition and expect the kid to learn something from it. That's not going to happen.
PS: it's the third time that i'm posting this and the forum isn't showing my message. If for some reason i got triple post; you know why.- 7 years ago
I don't want ranked. Ranked playlists ALWAYS bring a higher level of toxicity to gaming communities.

@ThatFawkzi then don't play ranked?
- 7 years agoStreamers are gonna have a great time playing only against super sweats every day... 🤔
The best streamer content imo is the funny moments when they find some big noobs.
And I mean seriously how many players are at level 60 with 1k kills? The majority is always going to be the casual gamers. I’ve only played the game for about 2-3 days and already got a few wins. And the times that I got wrecked by some crazy good player are few (usually I just make bad desicions) and is it just me who think it’s kinda exciting to face these god players. Everyone always has a chance. And if you actually manage to win that fight - what a great feeling.
It’s just a game.- 7 years ago
that's why i'm saying it should have a split but not a ladder.
players lvl 1 should be pitted against player lvl 30 at best. He will still get stomped by someone better than him but he will think "well i should have done X instead of Y".
Now when a lvl 1 gets wingmanned while sprinting by someone 100 meters away. what he will learn? He literally don't know what hit him. There's nothing to learn there.
I'm okay facing people like Dizzy, i killed him once and i'm Fing proud of it, that Fing basterd, but when he is bashing lvl 1 players. That's just straight unfair and shouldn't happen.(I'm level 51 by the way)
- 7 years agoI just hate 90% of the randoms I get.
- 7 years agoThen they will level up quickly and be out
- 7 years agoTryhards don't only care about doing good, it's for their egos; all their stats and earned badges play probably a bigger part than their gameplay does. Doubt this would be an issue. Maybe streamers would? But people would call them out on it anyways and again that wouldn't be good for their egos.

Especially youtubers and streamers as it's fun content. But many streamers I watch have already stressed that Apex has gotten boring for them now. They can literally win every game if they wanted to. So instead they try to make it more fun by doing random things like Mozambiques only or just straight trolling bad players in game.
If the pros and streamers get bored, they stop playing, if they stop playing, large portions of their fan base stops playing, then the game withers away.- 7 years ago
I hate that streamers can dictate a games community. What happened before all these "cool" streamers came to control peoples opinions on video games? Oh yeah, people played games that they enjoyed playing. Why do people watch other people play video games when they themselves could be playing said video game (or one they would enjoy more)? It's honestly very dumb.
