@Palette24carats First of all, I can handle new players just fine. Second of all they played like a bunch of preds. It's not hard to grasp the concept of the game, yeah, but this was more than "grasping the concept", they were beyond outplaying everyone else in the lobby. I wouldn't even be surprised if they had cheats too.
Keep in mind that you can start playing rank at level 10, they're two level 23's and a level 28. Also remember you start at Bronze 4. That's a bit of a climb to sliver and gold. Rank is a different play style, although matchmaking doesn't help, however it's unlikely a team of new players are going to be dominating a gold lobby that has plat and up players in it. (Badges and skydives suggested there's higher ranked players).
When I started playing Apex back in the first week, it took a while (even though I had a bad PC) to even reach Gold 4. Then when I got a better PC, it STILL took about a season or so to finally reach plat, where I've been hard stuck due to matchmaking issues. Most say that's diamond lobbies, but I guess I don't have what it takes to solo out of plat. Or maybe I don't care enough. We'll never know.
