This season has seen an insane amount of Smurfs in Ranked to levels beyond comprehension.Whereas normally people in Bronze can barely aim or shoot a gun, people in Silver have a 2 second reaction time and Gold is easily soloable, now we have 3-stacks in Bronze with aimbot accuracy?!?!?!What is going on with people smurfing so hard, this was unseen in previous seasons and really stops me from playing the game if I can't just do some casual ranked to sit out Storm Point on pubs

@MichelPostma Its just a bunch of cheaters and smurphs going unchecked, with high ranked players being allowed to unfairly drop into the rookie rank. I had saw a few people the other day have all 3 badge slots be a different master's badge, and their current rank said "Rookie IV". What a joke, honestly.Bronze used to be easy to get out of, silver used to be a challenge, but not too bad, with gold requiring thought, and in plat, you need an actual team. I never made it past plat, so I don't know about diamond's ranked games.Now its just Rookie to Gold being extra sweaty, with the side of more sweat.

@freire6 It wouldnt change a thing... most players have 2 or 3 smurfs for rank that are level 50 or higher.

@Midnight9746People already have level 100 + rank smurfs.. the game is 3 years old!
This could have been a good solution in the first year or 2 of Apex but not now it is too late.
This would negatively affect the new players experience and nobody else... brand new smurfs are used only to try and get a damage badge and 20 kill badge, people don't create brand new smurfs to rank they already have a few.
What we need now is a rank rework that puts you directly against similarly skilled opponents according to your points per game ratio.

There is no other way around it.

@Palette24carats Considering I still see level 12's lasering the whole lobby, this isn't correct. People are *still* smurphing and cheating on low leveled accounts.

A continution on what I've said above... cheaters and smurphs going unchecked, with high ranking players being allowed to drop into lower ranked lobbies:

Enemy Team:

Bloodhound - Masters in a Silver lobby
Pathfinder - A blantant smurph / cheater
Octane - I honestly do not know about them, they had no stats or badges displayed on their banner card. I'm going to assume its another smurph.

Smurfing is ofc not a good thing but the design choices that Respawn keep making sadly incentives it. Every split, I play my main to Diamond4 with premades but when they arent online or if I just am not in the mood to tryhard, I solo Q in ranked from whatever rank I reset to approx Platinum on alt accounts. The reason why I just dont play casual mode is because Respawn made that mode a joke because of the insta-leave attitude and stacked 3-man premade squads.
If casual was solo Q only, i.e teams of three solo Qs of totally random skill level, I would have played that instead of solo Qing ranked on smurfs. Then, I would know that every team I faced would have an equally random chance of:
a) being as good or bad as my team
b) having as good or bad team synergy/communication as my team
c) not being a full squad, i.e had players eliminated.
The problem here is ofc mixing teams of stacked premades with randoms. Remove this and casual would become more fair and at least I wouldnt not be incentives to smurf.

@MichelPostma Its so bad isn't it ..playing golf now is basically plat to diamond. The level of skill is so highly especially on pc..players beaming everywhere. Level 20. 4k. 20 bomb toxic fools. Who get to whatever rank they want them ruin lobbies for others for their own pleasure..imagine being this sad.
Hey I've got an idea. Let's three stack in pubs. Or.....let's smurf in ranked and ruin everyone else's experience.

Kd for sbmm or anyone with rough badges all match made together.
Attach a mobile number to your account to limit smurfs..I'm not a game dev at all. But there's two ideas from someone giving up in this game..

Well done all those who knowing ruin others experiences rather than challenge themselves with players their own skill..

Its not worth playing ranked at all this season. Bronze teammates with diamond to pred enemy teams in "gold" lobbies. One of my matches, I was gold, (last season's gold), teammates were a gold, (last season's rookie IV), and a bronze, (last season's rookie IV), champion team were all plat players, two of which were last season's diamonds, and the 3rd was last season's masters.
