@NickBeam27 Can't help but agree with you here Nick. I LOVE mid-long range combat. Nothing quite as satisfying as landing a high damage/high degree of difficulty shot with absolute precision. Close range combat and non-stop action actually bores me due to how little I end up planning out tactically. Even if I do have a few clever ideas teammates just get mad at me for not bulldozing into combat and shooting anything that moves.
I'm no longer skilled enough to regularly snipe but I'd hate for it to be dumbed down like so much else. I detest Seer, I hate how dull and effective they've made Rampart's Ult and now you're telling me they have a sniping Legend that doesn't need any awareness or skill to land shots? What's the fun in sniping if all the work is done for you.
@heme725 Thanks heme, i wouldnt know...but my son talks like you do about it. Kids a born sniper in all games since he was a kid. He explains it the same way as you...that thrill lining up the perfect shot, getting the hit, knock or kill. He says its the most satisfying thing ever lol. It took him along time to get as good as he is with snipers. He also finds it depleting to see, how like you said - all the work is done for you now. Seems like a slap in the face to hand fake skills to everyone, while truly talented snipers had to work for their skill. And apex moves into new uncharted waters yet again. Guess the wall hacking Seer just wasnt enough. Might need a life jacket this time around. Oooh and a hearing aid turn up to high. ; )
