So when are the people making Smurf accounts gonna start getting bans

Smurf accounts is cheating, because to make a new account to play against lower skilled players is * and shows how broken this game really is

  • @raylafluer This would stop if end game players had something to still grind for on their main accounts, i.e an increase of max level to 1000 or an extended battle pass, or SOMETHING, you know?

  • Players are not the problem in any case, the way the matchmaking system works is the problem. Both sides, good and bad players are asking for this to STOP but the developers do not give a damn actually

  • When it comes to competitive it is definitely plays that are the problem when you get level 15~20 players the already have some of the hardest to get badges in silver and gold lobbies you can't blame the Matchmaker as it's obvious the account was made to farm kills on new players and because of the way competitive works they can probably do this for 20 or 30 games before they get back to whatever bracket there supposed to be where as in public games they would probably only get 4 or 5 games for the back into the bracket that they're supposed to be in

    No company...

    ...ever...

    ...banned accounts because of smurfing.

    Ever.

I'm not saying smurfing is right but gamers pretty much need to give it up already or start asking EVERY game company to ban it, which would require you submitting personal information to them.  While getting rid of smurfing has a point, people have no idea what it would take, nor the benefit companies get financially from multiple accounts.

So good luck.  As far as I'm concerned, you'd have better results asking a cardboard box to ban smurfing.

  • @Sarrgeras But why would a player who's upset as a high-level player, think it's better to make a new account due to potential issues with matchmaking...? Is it that they're not playing with enough high-level players? Or are the enemies "too easy"?

I don't want to rate myself as good or bad at the game, but I am well-experienced- as are many other players. Me personally... I like the progression on my account, seeing my stats for each and every Legend, or the skins and loading screens/music I've accumulated. I get some good games, and I get some bad. But I'm happy playing either way. I myself -along with many of us-  can make smurf accounts and wreak havoc but... why?

    I like a challenge.

@MoNosDirtyGaming Agreed.. on smurf accounts you can actually earn new items 9r heirlooms etc. I've been capped at 500 for ever now and I really really don't need more Red Coins. I hope that as this game has grown and they've added more developers and employees and etc that these things will be addressed.

The bigger issue IMO is the ability for people to SELL their smirf accounts to other players which I dont know how is fun to people anyway, not earning badges and things of their own. Weird and I dont get it.

@MoNosDirtyGaming Needing something to grind for isnt the inly problem, peoplesay they make smurf accounts to play "casually" because pubs on their main are "too sweaty" and they want to get high kill games all the time but dont because they have to face people actually close to their level
