There is no reason solo and duos are not in the game. The game is fun but if you have nobody online to join up players are forced to play with randoms which rarely ends well and cuts the enjoyment of the game in half. I personally want to play this game all of the time but the lack of choices for solos or duos really keeps me from playing more then I do because it really gets frustrating playing with randoms. Being forced to play with randoms.
That is sort of a difficult thing to do with this kind of game. One of the main differences between this game and other battle royale title like Fortnite, is that this game has a Legend roster (a character that has a unique set of abilities). To make a solo game mode would be completely unbalanced since this game is meant for tactics in squad play. It may suck to sometimes play with randoms, but adding the SMART COMMS system and dropping together and so on is a great way to minimize the possibilities of having negative experiences with other players, whereas in Fortnite, where you don't even know what is going on and what your teammates are planning or wanting to do.
I disagree, I love the 3 v 3s and hope no other modes are introduced.
Not difficult at all, not in the slightest. The game would be just fine with a solo only queue, this ain't no Overwatch. It's battle royale. BR always has a solo queue
The only people being prevented from playing a mode they want are solo players who have no other choice but to queue up with randoms who ignore pings do whatever they want as if there were no teams of 3, and use no mic

The moment anyone i shoot at begins to take damage from me they run to their nearest teammate and hide inside a building and heal. All because these dumb noobs are careless with their positioning and have poor awareness. They deserve to be killed by players like me but this dumb game gives the noobs a chance.
Lower the time it takes to kill.
