I think they are looking at how many old players have left
and that they now have mainly new temporary players.

And so their decisions to make new content is based on "did the majority of the current player base play content we released in the past?"
If the answer is no, then they will rehash and reuse everything now.
Because it's "new" to a big portion of the current playerbase.
Very lazy! And a horrible decision.

Game will die if they update only based on temporary influxes of new players.
They need to update the game for the players who actually PAY them 😂🤦🏻‍♂️
