Sparrow is… concerning

Sparrow has been out for a few weeks and he’s definitely in need of some nerfs… Every match has at least 1/3 of the lobby as Sparrow.

  1. His mobility is severely overpowered and diminishes things like Vantage’s Echo Relocation. Her double jump, which has a significant cooldown, is useless compared to his super frequent double/triple jump when paired with a wall…
  2. His tactical alone provides a 15 SECOND trail for his teammates to follow, even through walls… Seer’s ultimate is less effective than that and Sparrow gets three tactical shots on drop… 
  3. If you get pinged by his Tactical and it starts the “position revealed” timer, breaking line of sight before the timer ends should prevent the trail from appearing…
  4. The ability for Sparrow to get his team fast amounts of EVO just by throwing his Tactical around the map and hitting Survey Beacons with absolutely no risk is absurd. Everyone else has to stand in the animation and risk being shot or Crypto has to be in his drone and be defenseless. Where is the drawback? Where’s the risk?? Using his Tactical for beacons should only reward half the amount of EVO or none at all…

Legend balancing is about give and take… Sure he can use his tactical for beacons, but it should reward little to no EVO because he isn’t locked in an animation like everyone else… His passive makes Vantage’s tactical useless by comparison, his tactical makes Bloodhound’s Tactical and Seer’s ULTIMATE useless by comparison… No Tactical should ever outperform an ultimate…
