You have little to no recoil, powerful tracking, and extremely easier headshot potential.
@4ccbf460f7b926b1Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Do you know what aim assist actually does brother? This game is not like fortnite or any other game which has aim assist. In the most simplest of terms, all aim assist does is SLIGHTLY slow down your aim when you are aiming around the radius of an enemy. However, It is strongly visible when you are aiming at a downed enemy with their shield up and you have to force your controller away from them (which happens on console a lot).
Don't take my word for it, here is another example I've found.

- 6 years ago@MoNosDirtyGaming If you kept reading down the link you sent me, there's a post showing that Aim Assist is actually 'more powerful' on PC.

And further down I saw some short clips of people snapping to target using controller. Thanks for the evidence proving my point.- 6 years ago
@4ccbf460f7b926b1I've played on pc, no it isn't. It feels a lot more weird to use controller on pc than it is on a console. What you are referring to is a xim controller. That is what a lot of cheaters are using to aimbot players in the head and snap to targets. Don't get aim assist and cheaters confused.
Respawn has not had an announcement for cheaters since the release of the game, a lot of cheaters still persist. Controller does not affect recoil whatsoever, the video you also saw in that link was a pc player on controller. Cheating is the issue and until that is addressed you will not find justice in playing apex.
Send me the link of this particular video you talk about? Surely you can find it again, because I highly doubt it has anything to do with aim assist because it does NOT affect the game whatsoever apart from slowing your sensitivity down when near an enemy.

@MoNosDirtyGamingIt's below the original tweet.
But still, you still need to aim with controller, plus M & K will have an advantage regardless over controller.
1. You can actually flick. Flicking on console a waste of time, because you don't have that level of control in the joystick.
2. Movement. Unless you have an expensive controller with paddles, movement is much, much more difficult on console because console doesn't have as much customization. (normally.)
Those two things are essential parts of any FPS game.Edit: Just scrolled up and found a third one.
3. Spamming the shoot button. More difficult on controller due to lack of customization, and most controllers require your finger to actually sink down like half an inch before it really registers, but M & K can use a tiny bit of pressure on their mouse and it'll fire.
4. PC also has easier access to third party software like crosshair overlays.
