Still no fix for SBMM, why am i getting bot teammates in randoms ?

I have a very simple and effective fix that you can use to solve this problem.

Find 1 or 2 other people you can link up with and play on a regular basis and stop dropping solo.

This will eliminate the RNG of random teammates.  

I do agree with you that Apex needs to make major adjustments to Matchmaking though.

Not possible. Can break friendships. Also i work shift, can't meet up all the time. 

That's not a fix when you avoid a problem... 

@espadakillar69 I have been playing this game since season 1 with two very good friends that I also meet and do things in real life. Friendship has not been broken by this game.

I also play with some other players that I have meet online in game, though we do not play often with each other 1-2 times a month we play well and treat each other with respect.

I get that it can be difficult if you work shift work, and that maybe you do not want to play with people you know IRL so as to avoid issues. However I suggested finding players to play with on a regular basis and not trying to get friends to play with you. If you treat people with respect it usually works out.

I was not avoiding the issue. I did agree that matchmaking needs to be fixed more balanced. Also a lot of preds and diamonds act like Bots and many silver and gold play like gods, so again the description of a bot is also dependent on perspective. 

What matchmaking cannot fix is how players play. There are a lot of times I have people that are great players but Toxic as hell, there are great players that play as a team with you, there are bad players that play as a team with you. There are players that play to aggressive for me or to timid for me, players that have no map sense, or play for kills and not wins or vice versa. All in all there are so many different types of players out there and what is good for one person may not be good for another and matchmaking does not and can not match playstyles and personality.

@espadakillar69 is looking for good players to play with, only they can decide what that means to them.

@espadakillar69 You can try looking for players here on the forum, Reddit and or via discord etc. It might take a while to find others that fit with your playstyle and mindset. SBMM can not fix everything. 

I did try. It didn't work. All the things you mention. Maybe it is the demographic. In Singapore, we have many people from different countries play in this forsaken server due to low ping. But no one uses the ping features. Lack of comms. No teamwork. Drop and die kind of mentality. It is horrible I tell you. And local streamers don't even dare to cover this region because no one wants to get blacklisted for saying bad things about Respawn. Developers don't care. I'm trapped here. Most of my English speaking friends are from overseas and once region lock kicks in, I'm screwed.

Keep trying, it can take some time but when it works out it is great even if it is connecting with someone for a few games, sessions or long term.

Patience is a virtue.

End of the year, still not fix on SBMM in sight. Respawn, you are one greedy bad boi. 

So here’s what’s going to happen because of that.  People are going to play the game less.  I have several friends that link up and play the game together but you best believe if they aren’t on I queue up for one match tops before I’m brutally reminded of how garbage the matchmaking in this game is.

They will never change it.

It is because it works on EOMM (engagement optimized matchmaking). You are not matched on skill but it combines a number of different factors, to try to increase overall engagement. This is why most of us have a good first game to keep us playing looking for that one win that gives you a good feeling.

The more players play the more likely they are to spend money on coins that's how it works. That's all they care about. I encourage you to keep coming here and keep an eye on how many matchmaking posts you see. I've posted about it for over a year now and trust me they don't care one bit. I complained about me getting 1500 damage or 2k and my teammates would get 200. I even posted about me playing like 18 games in a row of just crap teams with very low damage. I took some time off from the game and of course the first game I get a win. I even joked with the random teammates I had about how Apex does this. Gives me a win and now I get crapped on because it just happened. 5 games of 100 plus damage teammates and the last game I just played before typing here I got 1500 plus damage on my own because my squad left me.
