Stop rigging spread and aim

Its so obvious that you rig spread and aim to even out fights now that is ridiculous. Its so rigged. I tested this with playing No-fill going solo against Duos and its especially obvious in this game mode, No-fill duos. When the game rigs your aim and the spread and you feel like a puppet on strings, its just ridiculous. You don't feel like your skill matters, as a player.

Its the skill level of the enemy you are shooting at that varies , not some tin-foil theory of "rigged spread and aim". I bet everyone here who isnt an actual bronze-gold player has smurfed at least at one occasion?  Do you think the reason why you 100-to-0 people left and right in silver4 lobbies is because a rigged aim mechanism built in the game? And same but opposite result when you fight someone that turns out to be a current Apex predator? Apart from the obvious factor "MOVEMENT", i.e that high elo players move in a way the makes them harder to hit, there is also something called damage kick which makes your screen shake and sight jump around if you receive much damage during a very short period of time. This makes it even harder to out damage a highly skilled player straight up in a ADS-and-shoot-duel.

  • I think that in the end since there are so many players playing Apex that it won't make a difference!

  • @BalladalidilaI still think something is rigged... if you could only see how much the R-99 snaps like an aimbot in those games vs every other game you would understand like Im not doing anything different than how I usually would play but it can literally 1 clip someone 30m away ._. When usually I try that and the spray is all over the screen unless I burst fire

  • @Ingeniekey Yeah. Every day, the controls feel noticeably different. Not sure if it's a matter of server prioritization of player input, a connection issue, a "rubber-banding" mechanic built into the game, or a consequence of the aim-assist system. Either way, there's definitely something going on.
  • @Ingeniekey Ive had games on PC where I swear I had aimbot. My tracking was perfect, couldnt miss a shot. Thought i somehow had aim assist even though Im on MKB. Its not super often but every now and then... really weird
  • @nebwiseYes, its something going on server side. They do what they can to even out the skill gap and have it as concealed as possible. It drives the money train. The thing I want them to remove is how it varies and especially the push-off mechanics they have where my aim is pushed off the target.

@Tperodactyl Yes, I've had that experience too. Many times. I'm on controller on pc. I can do a lot of of stick wiggle and it doesnt even move, just locks onto the enemy like magnet and is steady on target. Its very apparent close up. It doesnt feel right, but I want them to have the aim mechanics consistent and not mess around with it as if they want to rig the rounds in favor of this and that player. Whats most infuriating is that they try to hide and conceal it, its dishonest and they try to rig fights.
  • @SpeedyColt Ofcourse they'll never admit it. That would cause a major uproar within the gaming community, but I want them to know that we players are aware of it. So it gets traction within the community to a point where it equals them admitting it. Thats at least sheds some light of justice and truth to the matter.

Yeah this thread is getting closed, making absurd conspiracy theory claims while presenting zero evidence isn't exactly helpful. Posting strange in-game behavior is very helpful, and such clips are welcome.

I'm not saying there can't be a variance in in-game experience. As noted, there's the vastly different experiences of getting into lobbies with Predators vs playing with new players. Also, lag is a big factor.

If you get a game on a server a short drive away which gives you 30ms, you'll have a different feel to getting a different region server with 100ms. I recommend reading this blog as it goes into some detail on the difference between local and server simulations and how lag is a big factor. I always play with the network info panel on, and I recommend other folks do to. It helps with finding the cause of all sorts of weird issues, and a lot of the time, weird stuff will coincide with a network blip and simulation desync.

I'll also welcome any clips of unexpected game behavior, we've seen all sorts, and any examples can help us track down the weird cases.
