Stormpoint needs to go

Honestly, the map just isn't good. It is too big causing people to run around for 20 minutes doing a looting simulation and then half of the map is just open range. It forces you to play champs with ...

I just want to know why storm point was just randomly added to the map rotation mid season. It honestly is the weakest map in the game and I’m sure everyone agrees. Storm point is just too big for 60 people to play on and it just results in action at the beginning of the game then absolutely nothing until final circle. Please just take it out of rotation and choose literally any other map

"it just results in action at the beginning of the game then absolutely nothing until final circle." Feel free to put blame where it's really due, on the players. No one makes anyone else hot drop, and no one makes anyone else rat until the final circle. The players decide, not the map.

@reconzero why put the blame on the players when they know that if you don’t land hot then you won’t have good loot or run into any other teams until the end of the circle. EVERY game of storm point there are 2-3 locations where the whole lobby goes. And if you don’t land at those 2-3 locations then you’ll literally find absolutely nobody😂.

  I'm not sure who told you that hot drop = good loot but they lied. If they implied that cool or cold drops mean bad loot, then they lied to you twice.
  
  Entire lobbies landing in two or three places is not unique to Storm Point. After first circle there are still fights to be had before the endgame... if you know where to look. If you don't think you can traverse such a big map in a timely fashion in order to find them then there are tridents and gravity cannons which attract enemies like honey attracts bees. But even if there weren't, and even if it was just a handful of squads ratting... this is partly the nature of battle royale, and this season reinforced by the ranking system. I don't see it as a map size issue, but if I'm overlooking something or if you think there's a case to be made then make away. I'll read every word.

    I never said that it was unique to storm point but it’s far more prevalent on storm point than the other maps imo. Take Olympus for example. If everybody one lands at Estates, fight night, and energy depot, the map is so small that people can loot up plaza wayyyy at the bottom of the map and still get to one of those locations and there will be people there or in the distance fighting. In WE everybody lands the middle of the map so if you need a fight go there. Same with KC. And even broken moon. But in storm point if you land away from people it’s wayyyyy harder to actually find a fight because of all the map you have to cover to get to those hot drops. Even with the grav cannons and tridents it’s still a pain to actually find a fight if you don’t want intense action in the beginning of the game. And the slower pace of storm point feels like ranked even in pubs and imo rank and pubs should have completely different feels. The difference is there in all the other maps but storm point feels the same regardless of pubs or ranked.
