Strimmer and pro code of conduct

Any streamers, YouTubers and pro players proven to have participated in boosting cheating or having used macros to cancel recoil should have their EA YouTube and Twitch accounts accounts deleted which pie has the right to do under copyright infringements and a lifetime ban from participating in any esports organised by EA as these are look to us community leaders they need to be held to a higher standard EA has already started by taking down YouTube channels that promote exploits is this within send a clear message to all the other cheats and boosters that he ate takes their offences seriously and will punish them

  • @Hilshire12 I read that, and all that stuck with me is the part where you typed "pie has the right" and "he ate takes their offences seriously".

Cheating in a game and sharing the clips of it on other platforms (like YouTube and Twitch) isn't exactly copyright infringement worthy.

Copy rights only apply to things that has 3 standards:
    - Original (Your work, can't be created by another or copied)
    - Creative (At least a small amount of creativity)
    - Fixed (Must be some sort of tangible expression, including digital. By this, it simply means drawings, paintings, designs, etc. are "fixed" if someone is able to recreate, copy the photo, etc. in any way)

I'm not saying cheating is alright, what I am saying is you can't copyright the cheaters. No one is really using the game as their own work, and it can't really be "fixed", since the game is meant to be played by everyone.

A quick google search about which part of a game could be copyrighted, brings this: "The US Copyright Office specifically states that “Copyright does not protect the idea for a game, its name or title, or the method or methods for playing it. Nor does copyright protect any idea, system, method, device, or trademark material involved in developing, merchandising, or playing a game.”"

In other words, you're not going to be able to copyright strike a cheater. Although, I am aware that Epic Games sued cheat sellers for copyright infringements, but haven't been able to find out if Epic Games even won those cases.

What should happen is that cheaters get their accounts deleted or suspended (depends on case), and banned from any EA Esports. Good luck getting every cheat video out there deleted. Most social media sites do not really care. Considering you can find videos for a games that's been out for 5+ years.

They should send Terry Cruise to the homes of these cheaters so he can punch them in the junk.
