Suggestion for Apex Legends Console

I would like to extend my appreciation for the immersive and engaging experience that Apex Legends consistently delivers across platforms. As an avid player who has enjoyed countless hours in your game, I am writing to respectfully advocate for an enhancement that could greatly benefit a significant segment of the console player base.

I believe that offering console players the option to connect and utilize a keyboard and mouse setup could enhance gameplay accessibility and improve competitive balance. Many players accustomed to keyboard and mouse controls face an adjustment period when switching to controller gameplay, which can impact their ability to perform optimally. By providing the option for keyboard and mouse connectivity, Apex Legends would accommodate players with diverse preferences, aligning the console experience more closely with the freedom enjoyed on PC. This feature would not only offer additional inclusivity for a wider range of players but also allow those who prefer the precision of a keyboard and mouse to fully realize their potential within the game.

Furthermore, this integration could open new possibilities in competitive play, enhancing the cross-platform experience and encouraging a more diverse player base. I recognize that balancing gameplay across different input methods is complex, but I am confident that Respawn’s expertise would ensure a fair and balanced implementation of this feature.

Thank you very much for considering this suggestion. I believe this option could make Apex Legends an even more inclusive and engaging experience for console players. I appreciate your dedication to the Apex community and look forward to seeing the game’s evolution.

No. It's bad enough that we have mixed lobbies as it is. The dev should never have allowed PC and console players in the same lobby to begin with. It's the root of all evil.

That said: I find myself wondering about this mythical console player who prefers the precision of mnk. Anyone who prefers that precision would, I imagine, prefer it because they are used to it... on their PC. Why would a PC player go out and buy a console which would give him a double handicap? Inferior performance coupled to an unfamiliar input device? Call me cynical but it sounds like you want mnk precision coupled to console aim assist. Feel free to correct me if that assumption is wrong.
