[Suggestion] Force Interface Setting

I play the game on my PC, running Windows 10, and a problem I've had since launch is my wireless Dualshock controller being detected as a Xbox controller, even with using the official Sony adapter. An easy work around fix would be to provide a setting that forces the interface to be either mouse & keyboard, Xbox, Dualshock or Nintendo layout, considering that the game is available on all four platforms.

Now that the game has been ported to Steam, a plethora of controller options have opened up for players. I use Gyro Aiming (using the controllers gyroscope for additional aiming control), and a small problem I have is the interface constantly switching from mouse & keyboard to controller, which could be easily fixed with the aforementioned setting.

EDIT: I would like to add to my suggestion the ability to force a control scheme for certain elements of the game, like forcing controller mode for menus, deathboxes, etc. and forcing a custom controller scheme (like Gyro-Aiming) for regular gameplay.
