@DeathRaven_1983 SBMM is another thing needed to be looked at, yes, but stating the bow is fine because it is only OP against lesser skilled players is just plainly wrong.
The Bow outclasses every single Sniper in the game, apart from the one-shot potential one could even argue the Kraber could be redundant. Even on short range the bow is a sufficient shotgun having this much damage without any real hip-spread while moving.
You can do all scenarios with just one weapon, without major or even any drawbacks (even though one draws back arrows.... huehue).
I am basically waiting for "pred with only bow"-challenges.
Another perk from the bow (no need to state out every screw to balance a weapon and say the bow has it turned to high to max), which is often overlooked: Because humans react to the loudest sound by instinct, returning fire with anything other than a bow to a bow-user instantly focuses all attention on you, giving the bow a massive advantage in playing defensively over every other gun in this game right now. Apart from the massive offensive power it brings.
There is simply no way to put the bow anywhere other than on the top of all weapons, with a really big distance to the second place, sorry.
BTT: I stated in a different post trading Bow and TT would be an easy and fix hotfix to get things sorted out a bit, so I very much like this idea 🙂
@Laminiae lol. In no way the bow outclasses sniper rifles. The sniper rifle is a long range weapon, while you can hardly see mid-range targets with the 3x optics, which is the optic with highest magnification. Let alone hitting them.
And shotguns beats the bow hands down. The bow fires one projectile at a time, while shotgun fires at least 6. I’ve never seen a player using arrows in face to face fights in ranked.
Also, if you can’t hear where the arrows come 5 days into the season, you should buy yourself better headphones.

sure, if you use sniper rifle to poke people across the map and third party other squad fight from 500m away that is completely none of your business, then the bow is bad right? except it did not, can fire 4 arrow before the sentinel can barely loaded the second bullet while having no magazine and even better hipfire, this is pure fact just like Germany losed WW2, it completely outclassed all the other long range weapon. and for the shotgun, no one was really comparr the bow to it because that's not the strongest most broken aspect of the bow. but rather the bow has absolutely no drawback because it can turn into Mozambiggie 2.0 for optimal close range engagement. Combine with the tempo then suddenly it can even out dps the PK and Mastiff in the right hand.
it's stupidly overloaded and overtuned. there is no way people could defend this crap unless you do realize how powerful it is and want to abuse the shjt out of it as long as possible until Respawn done grinding some rank game and want to have some free elo by getting cheap kill with it, because I refused to believe they allowed this thing to go live after QA and almost 1 week of letting streamer gain early access

- @DeathRaven_1983 I'm an audio engineer and sound designer with trained ears and best-in-class headphones. Objectively, the Bocek shots are extremely difficult to localize, compounded by the reality that simulated gunfights are complex soundscapes.
